regarding $1K tax exemption ceiling on online goods from abroad - keep it up no import duty / no gst / no paperwork if you had a $1K ceiling with online goods in Australia or even retail outlets LOCALLY that would be even better!!??

Extend this to manufacturing ie remove every rule and regulation that applies to Australian Manufacturing - and they are miriad - that would even things up completely

Add to this the removal of every ( it seems monthly) tax such as marine park permit, trailer registration, restricted use flag, vehicle licence registration, boat builder code renewal, business rate levy ( and everything that that is made up of eg tourism levy ) EPA occupational health and safety, water rates sewage rates even a tax on the number of toilets The ridiculous amount of bureaucracy and taxation on employing people ( Superannuation workcover GST Stamp Duty ) does any body in government know or understand that offshore companies do not contribute in any way to any of the above particularly online stores that are not subject to nor do they contribute anything at all to wealth and tax generation here in Australia

ADD TO THIS THE REMOVAL OF EVERY ( IT SEEMS MONTHLY) TAX SUCH AS MARINE PARK PERMIT, TRAILER REGISTRATION, RESTRICTED USE FLAG, VEHICLE LICENCE REGISTRATION, BOAT BUILDER CODE RENEWAL, BUSINESS RATE LEVY ( AND EVERYTHING THAT THAT IS MADE UP OF EG TOURISM LEVY ) EPA OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY, WATER RATES SEWAGE RATES EVEN A TAX ON THE NUMBER OF TOILETS THE RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF BUREAUCRACY AND TAXATION ON EMPLOYING PEOPLE ( SUPERANNUATION WORKCOVER GST STAMP DUTY ) DOES ANY BODY IN GOVERNMENT KNOW OR UNDERSTAND THAT OFFSHORE COMPANIES DO NOT CONTRIBUTE IN ANY WAY TO ANY OF THE ABOVE PARTICULARLY ONLINE STORES THAT ARE NOT SUBJECT TO NOR DO THEY CONTRIBUTE ANYTHING AT ALL TO WEALTH AND TAX GENERATION HERE IN AUSTRALIA

Judging by their awareness it would appear that our government deaf dumb and blind to all that the electorate are saying to them

Surely the disparity and lack of a level playing field for Australian online stores and retailers is obvious now - be fair
